Brand and Communications Assistant, Germany

Role Purpose: This role will work directly with the Brand and Communication Business Partner to ensure a fully integrated marketing approach for Germany. You will be working closely with creative and media agencies in adapting global campaigns and developing local initiatives.

Location: Germany – Berlin or Essen

Role Type: Fixed Term Contract (18 months)

Reports to: Brand & Communications Business Partner

Responsibilities:

Instore Marketing
  • Brief and steer creation of all German specific instore material including digital screens, window displays etc
  • Ensure instore materials are delivered in appropriate quantities and timeframes
  • Ensure translations of marketing materials incorporate the brand’s tone of voice
  • Work closely with the appointed translation agency, providing guidance and input where required
  • Ensure all instore material is consistent to external activities
  • Prepare and provide checklists for Retail and Visual Merchandising support
  • Partner with instore stakeholders (e.g. Visual Merchandising) to ensure brand consistency and compliance of instore execution
Promotional Activities / Channel Marketing Germany
  • Plan all German channel marketing activities and steer approval process
  • Partner with the relevant stakeholders to ensure product availability for all promotions
  • Brief agencies and inhouse Creative team for creation of channel marketing material
  • Approve content publication on external digital platforms
  • Support Finance and Market Insights Manager with relevant data to measure marketing effectiveness
Local Marketing
  • Develop a toolkit for local marketing activities
  • Support Retail stores with digital content management (e.g. website and social media
  • Provide on-site support for store trials and new initiatives

Skills Required
  • 3+ years’ experience within an agency or in house within either PR or brand role
  • Proven international experience with experience in Germany a bonus
  • Event planning and management experience
  • Fashion forward, product aware, connected and social savvy
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Fantastic communication skills both written and verbal
  • Confident, naturally inquisitive and resourceful
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively at a Senior Level and cross functionally
  • Ambitious and driven to achieve results and standards of excellence
  • Reliable and proven business ethics
  • Ability to travel internationally when required
